 Fitted wardrobes taken down opens the space, just need to remove the wood chip wall paper which is also on the ceiling! and the eighties skirting.The room is plastered ready for the skirting boards and picture rail which need to be replaced, and a new radiator and colour.

I chose Mellow Mocha (Dulux) for the walls, it is a perfect warm and tranquil colour for the room.

As you can see the carpet has just been laid. After much deliberation we have gone for carpet upstairs. Who likes cold feet in the morning when you get out of bed!
