Inspiration

I love the ever-changing colours and patterns the sky makes. I painted this about eight years ago for Nick. It reminds me of where I grew up in Sussex, looking out to sea. It has always been in our living room but time for a change and it is now the inspiration for the Master bedroom.

Christmas is a time for giving and crafting. I find cross-stitch so therapeutic and decided to make my niece and nephew stockings like the ones I made for my daughter Amelie and son Maximilian as my mummy had made mine many years ago. (See them hanging by the fireplace on my post March 2014)

 I also made fabric tree bauble gifts using recycled materials. Which are layered, stitched and then cut to reveal fabrics underneath (Mola technique).
